The faculty of Business Management and Administration was established in 2002 through the absorption of two faculties with a rich history and traditions - Management and Marketing.

The continuously changing environment of business management requires a more complex development and calls for excellency in academic training.

The faculty provides instruction, which is based on a modern syllabus including up-to-date attractive disciplines. A special emphasis is placed on specialized knowledge, the development of efficient business communication and computer skills, and proficiency in foreign languages, thus offering our graduates additional employment and international scholarship opportunities. All these benefits determine the applicants to enroll in the faculty of Business Management and Administration.

Graduates of a Bachelor degree programme may pursue professional development in a two-year Master’s programme in different fields of study, and further fulfill various positions in all the branches of the national economy.

The faculty of Business Management and Administration is organized into the following chairs: Management; Marketing and Logistics; Trade, Tourism and Hotel Services; Commodity Science and Technology; Physical Training and Sport.

The chair of Management trains specialists in Business Management and Administration, Intellectual Property Management and Acquisitions. Professional teaching is ensured by 21 titular teaching staff, whereof 5 are Professors, and 12 - Associate Professors. Some of the core disciplines taught are: Foundations of the Company Management, Foundations of Entrepreneurship and Small Busi-ness, Management, Risk Management in Business, Strategic Management, Operations Management, and Organizational Behaviour.

The chair of Marketing and Logistics provides instruction to students in the field of Marketing and Logistics. Both teachers and students are involved in various marketing projects and research activities, undertaken at the request of economic agents. The core disciplines taught are: General Marketing and Business-to-Business, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Strategic Marketing, International Marketing, and Logistics.

The chair of Trade, Tourism and Hotel Services provides instruction to students in the field of Tourism. The teaching staff actively contributes to the development of tourism in Moldova and the elaboration of the Normative Acts in tourism. The core disciplines are: Tourism Resource Management, Technology of Tourism Operations, International Tourism, Cultural Tourism, and Hotel Management etc.

The chair of Commodity Science and Technology ensures training to students in the field of Commodity Science and Trade. It offers specialized courses in: Foodstuff Commodity Science, Non-Foodstuff Commodity Science, Expertise and Goods Certification, Standardization etc.

Sport teams in basketball, volleyball, handball, football, table tennis, athletics, swimming, badminton, free style wrestling, judo, chess, draughts are organized at the chair of Physical Training and Sport. Basketball, volleyball, and handball teams participate annually in the National Championships and Cups of the Republic of Moldova.
