BRITISH CULTURE CENTRE

The British Culture Centre was established on 16 March 2006 with the financial support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Republic of Moldova. The main objectives of the centre are to facilitate AESM student and teacher access to the British culture and international values. Furthermore, the Centre aims to further promote the English language among students, teachers and all other interested parties. With this purpose in mind, the British Embassy has donated the Centre a valuable collection of works of such famous writers as W.Shakespeare, Ch.Dickens, D.Defoe, W.Scott, R.Kipling etc.

The donation also includes dictionaries in 3 languages (Romanian, Russian, and English), textbooks of Business English and Commercial Correspondence. Considerable assistance is provided by the latest technologies that the Centre has been equipped with in order to efficiently organize the projected activities.
