CENTRE FOR ACADEMIC CURRICULAR AND TEACHING STAFF DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of AESM is to affirm its European dimension and fulfill its vocation through convergent developments in the projected European Higher Education Area. The mission of the Centre for Teaching Staff and Curricular Development (CTSCD) is to foster the convergence of the education process at AESM towards the European standards, which were set by the European Union for the European Higher Education and Scientific Research Area, and develop an integral and highly qualified personality.

The CTSCD objectives are to develop the AESM curriculum, improve the psycho-pedagogical skills of the academic community; promote the integration of information technologies in the process of education; implement efficient forms and methods of academic teaching at AESM; and promote new education technologies in the process of teaching-learning-research- and assessment.

The CTSCD activities are to organize psycho-pedagogical courses as well as other various activities (seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.) for the professional development of the AESM teaching staff, assist the elaboration of documents pertaining to the institutional development of AESM; design electronic versions of theoretical and practical courses; participate in the design of the electronic services of AESM; cooperate with other institutions and organizations to promote quality and stability in economic higher education.
